Introducing the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Rewards

An APP meant to enhance ACP

Maxsip perks is an initiative designed to offer additional benefits to users of the ACP. As the name suggests, the ACP aims to provide affordable connectivity options to individuals and communities that may otherwise face barriers to accessing the internet. By extending this program to include a reward system, we not only aim to make connectivity more accessible, but also to create a sense of value and appreciation for customers.

How does it work?

The ACP Rewards Program operates on a transparent basis. Users who participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program automatically become eligible for rewards based on their level of engagement and usage. These rewards can vary from discounts on data plans, free data bonuses, or even exclusive access to offers and promotions. Additionally, the more active and engaged users are with the program, the higher their chance of receiving more substantial rewards. The goal is to create a win-win scenario where users are incentivized to use the program while receiving tangible, valuable benefits in return.

Problem and Tasks

The first version of the ACP Rewards program had a pool of variety in digital offers but they were poorly organized, difficult to navigate, and often too long and in depth for users to sit through. As such, Users often felt out of their path and isolated in their use of the app’s digital kits, thereby compromising their own substantial rewards and the companies business goal.

Our goal was to created an exciting rewards program that facilitate information and showed cased the rewards and potential offers thanks to their ACP approval.

Project production

To accomplish our goal we focused in the following areas

Create a shorter and less formal written approach to the general program information and individual descriptions from each reward and offers to retain user attention, submissions and app use.

Language

Design a program page and app with as much as natural mapping as possible for it to allow the user not only to easily predict the desired output of the app/page controls but to help users to easily understand & learn the overall functionality of the design and easily achieve their goal.

Journey Map

*Project development stopped due to the end of Gov ACP *

Maintain a consistent conversion flow from ACP applicants to our Rewards program by informing and guiding users towards the company’s additional benefit information.

Business goal

I approached this redesign by conducting a discovery phase in which I spoke to members of the company’s Marketing, finance and The app development teams to gain insight into their perspectives on the current state of the rewards page.

I then used the results of this phase along with my own evaluation of the resources page to identify critical pain points that became main design objectives.

Methods and critical points

The main goal of this redesign was to provide an experience through all the resources page that motivated users to return to the page and continue using it, thereby maintaining the company-client relationship for longer.

Conclusion

This program is a strategic approach that aims to enhance the experience of ACP users by offering them exclusive benefits and rewards. By establishing a strong bond with our customers, we hope to not only ensure user satisfaction but also maintain our business goal. As the program continues to grow and evolve, we will strive to provide even more exciting rewards that truly improve the lives of our users.
